what do you think would be better to chart pitches for?
It depends on the circumstances that you want to use the chart for.
If you are charting for tendenances you'd want something that charts pitch by pitch per count per inning.
If you are concerned about location then you'll want a location chart that shows balls and strikes and what the pitch was.
