I’m looking for a good pitching coach in the Northern Virginia area for a high school age player coming off an injury.  I would like to hear what you liked, didn’t like, etc. Obviously interested in ones teaching sound mechanics to assist in injury prevention and velocity development. Also, I’m interested in ones to avoid.

Please feel free to send pm.  There’s a lot of them up here but it’s hard to know which ones are really good.

Thanks in advance for recommendations!

If you a willing to travel to Fredericksburg, my 2018 sons pitching coach for the last 6 years is Chris Stowe from Pinnacle Baseball Academy.  Stowe was a RHP first round draft pick out of high school by the Expos in 1997. After an injury shortened his careeer, he came home to Fredericksburg to help teach the next generation of players and young men and, years later, created Pinnacle.

Stowe realizes that a preventable injury caused his career to be cut short, so he is very pro-arm care with long toss, bands and training.  Even if you can’t arrange something with him directly, he employs coaches who subscribe to his philosophies of arm care being paramount.

Contact him at 540-841-9284.  As you can tell, I highly recommend him.
