I know there have been threads about this before but I cannot locate them at the moment. I need opinions on the best pitching coaches in the Northwest Suburban area. Any suggestions?
Thanks for the reply Ump. The name Bill Copp keeps coming up but I looked at the Strikes site and his name is not on there. Does anyone know if he is still coaching?
Contact Bill through the Illinois Sparks website (the Orland Sparks and the Illinois Orioles merged). IMO, Bill is the best. If you want more information, PM me and I will tell you what I know (my son played for Bill last season).
I just finished up over at strikes and will get back next Winter if they will have me. Awesome place that has great people involved. I work a strange shift this year and it makes lessons tough because I cant see the kid every week consistantly.
Feel free to call me at 630 546-3304 if you would like to talk.
boris , Thanks for the nice words and I hope Alex comes back stronger then before.
I will be running a pitchers clinic for High School level players with Pitching Coach Dave Rosene.
This clinic will be focused on developing strong mechanics, the development of new pitches and the psychology of the position. In my opinion Rosene is among the best in the area.
Contact me for details at 312-480-9955. I am working with Dave and several other coaches and we are now setting the schedule for June/July 2007. The times will be set for weekday mornings and early afternoons and will provide highly personal attention to the serious player who wants to achieve a higher level of play. Chicago location.
Hitting and conditioning programs are also available with the Hit Doctor Ted Krga and speed and conditioning training with the coaching staff from Whitney Young High School.
