Hey lefty.11, and welcome to the HS BS web. I would say it depends on how you set up before you enter your motion. Some want to put their face into the mit before you start your motion. Some want to have the glove in their chest or some other position. Decide what you want to start your set up. I would suggest a mesh web if you put it up in front of your face; something you can see through. Otherwise it does not matter.
Before my son went off to college I told him one thing, "Just don't let them give you one of those silly looking pitchers gloves with the finger holster." <g> Alas, they didn't give him any choice.

But back to the original question, anything with a closed web will be find. Although, with a small glove they're not really going to see anything even if it's an open web.
Like the others said. Any infielder style glove with a basket weave works fine. My son has a 12 inch Pro Preferred and he likes it. It was a little bit pricey but you can get a decent glove at 1/2 that price and it will work well.

What other positions do you play? If you are primarily pitcher and play 2nd or SS then you will probably want a smaller glove. If you play outfield then go for a little bit larger glove. I'm assuming the 11 in your name means you are 11 years old. If that is the case just find a glove that you are really comfortable with. All the rest of that junk is more important later.
