Does your HS team throw bullpens during the week? And I am talking about the non- starters. And do they actually work in the pen with their pitchers?

Back when I played we did. One of our coaches was the "pitching coach" so he worked with relievers and starters in the 'pen.
I would hope they throw bullpens. What's the other option: just throw 'em on the bump in the game and hope they do well?
Sometimes bullpens & sometimes intrasquad work on Wedenesdays so the kids get live work. Depends on what we need to get done.

We throw Live BP once a week for those "non-starters" and that is their bullpen session. Usually about 30-35 pitches max.
