pitching rule

i am a lefty pitcher. My question is can i step back with my right foot then lift my left foot up a litte and kinda stride or walk with my left foot down the mound then lift my right leg and pitch to deliver the ball closer to home plate. Is that legal?

Absolutely not........

NFHS Rule 6-1-1

An Illegal pitch occurs when:

1) The Pitcher delivers a pitch when he is not in contact with the pitchers plate.

Penalty....Ball with no runners on........BALK with runners on.........
