Making choice between a couple of tourns for a 16U team. Unsure of what to pick. The choices are either Liberty/Lynchburg/Averette or ECU/Barton/NC Weslyan/Pitt CC. Both are the same weekend. The team in a nut shell is decent. Not a Nat Travel Org. Anyone have experience with those? I know this could change season to season. One thing to consider, we play in Va mostly anyway.

Since no one has answered, I will give it a shot.
Although it has been awhile, my son has played on the Liberty, Lynchburg, ECU and Pitt CC fields. Do you have players that are interested in the colleges listed above? Do you have ECU-type quality players? If not, go the the Liberty/Lynchburg tourny. Son's team was lucky enough to play on the ECU field during a tournament, but I heard others got stuck on a field way further away in the opposite direction (parent got huffy about it and didn't go and brought son home) (thank goodness player was not on son's team).
Like I said, it has been awhile, but you may want to confirm WHERE the off-site fields are that are options for play for the weekend.
I think it matters who is putting the tournament on. I would as suggested ask are you guaranteed games at ECU or Liberty?
Are you looking for exposure....or just to get the kids on a college field? Different tourney organizations have different followings among college coaches. I'm not familiar with the tourney orgs there....but when we were deciding on tourneys for our 15U/16U teams, we considered the field(s), but if it was an organization that's not known for getting coaches to come, we went elsewhere. Playing at a nice field was fun, but we were out to get our kids the most exposure to college coaches as we could.
