A note to many of the regulars:

How is it we can get all sorts of posters deeply involved in a discussion/analysis of curveballs breaking, fastballs rising, etc. - but a player comes on with a legitimate question (e.g., how to throw a curve, in the "Help pitching speed" thread) and he gets almost no response? Seems like this happens on a regular basis.

Yes, it is best he get with a good pitching coach. But that may or may not be possible in any given player's situation. Seems like some of the experts on this board would have jumped in here.

I understand that. Just gave a recent example, perhaps not the best. But there have been more than a few other occasions when questions weren't "landmines" if you will, but were ignored.
How do you teach a kid to throw a cerian pitch be it curve slurve change on the internet---it has to be one on one--every kid is different in height and weight and most importantly hand size

What is happening is that everyone sees the internet as the "be all end all" to everyting--let me tell you it ain't so Joe-- it has to be one on one,at least in the part of the country I live in
