Playing in too many games...

TEA does not limit games that I know of, this is a UIL rule. The team is penalized for going over the limit and not the player. In most cases the team will forfeit any games that the player has played in over the limit. I have seen cases in which the UIL has forced the team to forfeit all games that the player played in, which is insane, but we are speaking about the UIL.

How many is too many? Most teams play 27-33 games depending how deep the tournaments are at the beginning of the season.
Are you talking about playing in JV and Varsity?

Game limit is as follows PER PLAYER:

1 invitational tournament plus 21 games
2 invitational tournaments plus 19 games
3 invitational tournaments plus 17 games
