PG Staff: My son is Brett Rossi, Hunterdon Central NJ '04, signed a NLI with Barry Univerity, and so looking forward to going to school and playing in Florida. His first PG event was the Indianapolis Camp'03 where Brett got some great instruction from Jerry, Tyson and the PG staff. Attended both the Northeast (our favorite) and Southeast Top Prospects '03. And then Jupiter, which is another awsome and extremely well run event. He would not have had the choices he did without PG. Thanks Guys! Appreciate all the work you do. Now, do you have any information on frequency of flights from Newark to Miami? -bbmama
Jerry,
My son is John Wayne "Duke" Donahue.
2003 Grad...6',195lb.,Lefty CF(a hard nosed outfielder, who hits with Power from the left side!...according to PG) Freshman @ Angelina College in Lufkin,Tx. He attended the PG Southern Top Prospect Showcase at The U of Houston in 2002.(Where he was one of the Top 30 Prospects,I might add!)
It was his 1st showcase and we (he) didn't really know what to except. Everyone involved with PG (especially Andy and Tyson) were so helpful and" tolerant" of all our "1st timer" questions and concerns. It was a Great experience for Duke and I feel that it was MORE than worth the money!! Thanks To Everyone At Perfect Game.

PG,

What a great idea, you especially would have seen or known most of the boys here, Thanks for all the information and hard work the goes into the Perfect Game showcases, My son's name is Daniel Bullard-Summit Christian-P/3b/c,-----bats right and throws right he will be attending his first showcase this upcoming year and looking foward to a great season.

Nice to read the list. My son is Steve Burdan, 5/11" 185 lb. CF and sometimes RHP from Pottstown, PA. He's an '04 looking for a good D-II, III or JC. Only known in local area, I think. Unfortunately for him, mom lost her job at the most inopportune time, last summer, so we never did get to a PG event. Have read nothing but good things about your organization on this site.
My son is Chad Farr LHP/1B/OF of Memphis, TN. Chad was drafted out of HS by the Cubs as a LHP/OF.

Enjoyed speaking with you on the phone when Chad was a senior at Christian Brothers High School in Memphis.

Chad attended Chipola JC in Marianna, FL one year. He then transfered to Jackson State CC. Chad enjoyed playing at Chipola and Jackson State. Chad played very well at both colleges. He is still attending college but not playing ball at the present time.

Chad had surgery in Oct. of 2003 for a torn labrum. He is currently in re-hab and doing quite well. He will throw again for the first time in five weeks. Look for a comeback soon!

I will let you know what College he will be attending this fall as soon as we know.

Michael missed Jupiter last October due to a broken foot. Missed Jupiter this past October due to broken study habits. We (parents) said no.

I cannot tell everyone here how much we have enjoyed this website. Sometimes when you think you are the only one dealing with an issue you can always jump on here to see that you have a lot of company. AND... you get a lot of advice (mostly good)!!!

Thanks for starting this thread!!

I can't believe it's been almost 4 years since we found this site. Now we have just two seasons of baseball left.
On an academic note, youngest son who gave up baseball this year has made the dean's list again and is doing quite well on the air rifle team. Oldest son is looking at an intern position for this summer at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. He's making his dream come true through his studies. That's what it's all about.
Roll call . . .

Cobb8, my son is Chad Farr also...nearly fell out of my chair when I read your post....

PERFECT GAME This just a great topic that was started....AWESOME!!!!!

bballmom2---This is just so neat. Last year I did a search to find some old archives on my Chad and saw that there was ballplayer in TX named Chad Farr. Hopefully they will have the opportunity to meet one day. I tried to send you a private e-mail. Hope you catch this post. Take Care and we wish your Chad a spectacular 2004.

This was a nice idea by PG. I was reading the posts and found that on page 6 bbmama - identified her son Brett Rossi and he played on the same Mid Atlantic PG team at the WWBA in Jupiter as Stephen.

It is nice to know who the members are. There are thousands of athletes that are PG members and to have an opportunity to say Congradulations to bbmama and her son Brett Rossi on the NLI to Barry University is great.

Sorry, I forgot to mention my sons.

Andy Ford - played in the Cincinnati Reds organization. Now a National Supervisor for Perfect Game.

Ben Ford - Pitched in the Big Leagues for both the New York Yankees and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Last year with Brewers AAA club in Indianapolis. Going to MLB Spring Training next month.

Nick Ford - Was a basketball player and now an officer in the Nuclear Department in the US Navy.

Thanks to everyone who replied. There's still some that I know are missing. It will be fun to follow the progress of all these players of all ages.
