....for my family as we depart for our first-ever White Christmas in Colorado. It'll be my son's first time to ski, and I cringe at the thought of him breaking a leg right before senior baseball season. Eek I'm thinking of my poor 'ol 46-year-old bones too; last time I went skiing, I was 1 month pregnant with my 18-year-old. It's been a loooooong time! Lots of things can go wrong between skiing, snowmobiling, ice skating, tubing, and driving in wintry conditions. Then again, lots of things can go right, and I hope they do, in every way possible!

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

Baseball players should not snowboard unless they are very experienced. The incidence of wrist and arm injuries is much higher with snowboarding than skiing. Snowboarders need to learn to fall a certain way. My son surfs which is more like snowboarding from a balance standpoint, but he does not snowboard. He skis.

08 ... Catch some air and show me a copter. Smile
