Where and how are kids that do not have the financial means to play with one of the top notch select teams able to enter in some of the college type showcase tournaments? I have a group of kids that are pretty good ball players that cannot afford the $700 - $1500 fees to play with the organizations that can get them recognized. I would like to help them out by forming them together as a team and playing in some of these events, but do not know where to find the information on where, when, or how much. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

We also did fundraisers and sponsors for our summer team fees. Understand too that college coaches are always actively looking for talented players. While showcasing helps, college coaches look in places other than showcases. The majority of players on my son's HS team that went on to play college baseball never attended a showcase. Talent is a "college magnet".
