Who has the responsibility for calling the out on a popup in the infield for both non-infield fly rule and infield fly rule.

One More:

On a throw to first base from the catcher, if the baserunner is inside the foul line, if it is determined the runner is interfering with the throw, when should the out call be made, at the time of the throw or after the play has been completed.

1. Any ump can initially call an IF. After that, the other ump(s) should echo the call.

2. The out is called at the time of the infraction. Running lane INT is an immediate dead ball.

with the base ump in b or c position he has every fly ball in the V, from left fielder to right fielder. In the IFF, you should mirror the PU. ON balks you should mirror the guy who calls it. If you are with bad partner, call the IFF if he doesnt. that should be discussed prior to the game so it doesnt happen.

The second part of the question was regarding non IFF popups to the infield, not the outfield. Hence my response that it will depend on which fielder is fielding, his direction of movement and position of BU.
