Possible Title IX Solutions

It's scary to think about the percentage of boys in college continuing to decline. Already, at TCU there are 6 girls for every guy. When I was there in the 80's, it was 2 girls for every guy and we girls thought that ratio was horrible!

I think the pendulum has swung a little to far, but don't look for the scales to balance any time soon. Payback. Tell your boys to play twice as hard and study three times as hard.

I think that statement is a better recruiting tool than any website

That was proposed a couple years ago (excluding football from the calculations). The Title IX committee met and voted unaminously to not make any changes.

The object of the law is to become gender BLIND. Men's sports will continue to diminish, except for the profitable ones.

Because the parents allow it. Sit their butts in the chair and make them study. Priorities. Family, education, faith, sports.

Personally I think it is a great way to motivate young women to take up sports they have never played and will never play again.
