Depends a lot on how much time you have to prepare. For my team we will have one day of practice to prepare for our first round opponent. Because of this I don't really worry too much about the other team. We will get to practice this Monday and then get to play Tuesday in a win or season's over situation. Monday we are going to review anything and everything to make sure that we are prepared for things we may have not seen all season. Bunt D, 1st/3rd D, leave early, back up positions, pickoff plays - etc... Then we will spend a lot of time hitting to try and get our rythem. This practice will probably last close to two and half hours to make sure everyone knows what's going on.

Now if you have more time to prepare I would do the same stuff as well but add more to it by trying to prepare of the other team's strenght and weaknesses. Probably do a lot of scouting reports if we can get them.
Thanks for the advice Coach2709. Our boys made it to the Regional Championship Game before losing 5-4 in a well played high school baseball game. Had they won, they would have made it to the State Final Four. This was the first post-season championship team in thirty four year. In the process, they won a league title and a sectional championship. Thanks again.
