Hey Rod,
Do you have any info/knowledge of the Extreme Baseball Team from the Arizona Senior Classic. They are hosting their 1st Annual Showcase/Tournament on January 15-17, 2011, in Glendale, Arizona (Spring Training Home of the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago Whitesox). The bolo claimed there are limited spots and selective invites.

Thanks buddy, BTW - thanks for the shout out on Po-Po. GED10DaD
Hey Chris,

Yes, very intriguing for a first time event as they promoted college recruiters during the Dead Period ( although prob NAIA, JCs and mostly Pro Scouts ). Fee is reasonable for a 3 day thing. Looks like well planned though. RR23Jr has asked his coach if he knows the guys behind this and I will let you know once I have something concrete.

We got an invite based on play from Junior Classic.

Sounds like a Perfect Game format except it will be like a tournament. Not sure how they would team players together. 15 players/team sounds like a nice number to get a lot of exposure.

Definitely something to consider for the MLK weekend and play in some nice facilities ( we played here during the State Tournament and really nice) and stay in some nice affordable hotels nearby.

Still proceed with caution as first time thing.

PS No problem. Po-Po deserves it!

Hey there RR23! Looks like Jr is rolling right along! I have to wait another year to get my second son in the loop. He's a Freshman now and I think putting him out there now is a little too soon at 14. But next year I will see you in the mix again. Keep up the great work. I've been following your posts and appreciate your efforts! TC Bro!
