Remind him that you are sending him to college so when he is done he will be smart enough to know that they are a bunch of &%$#

Some friends of mine all got one and obviously I was a huge skeptic. But I got one for free and after I put one on I felt my stiff neck loosen up. Not much but it was just a tick better. I was really expecting to feel nothing. I don't know what else to say but there was definitely something there. Believe me, I expect most to think I'm full of it and I don't blame them, but it was there.

I was just using hyperbole to make a point. Actually, you can get a used textbook at Amazon or Ebay instead of at the school bookstore for roughly 30 bucks sometimes. It's funny how resourceful your kids get when you make them pay for the books.

Placebos "work" on many people.

It's a big world and there's enough stupid people to sucker in to make a good buck off this cheap jewelry. Of course peeps are gonna say it works. They just forked over 30 bucks and need to justify it works so they talk themselves into thinking it made even one iota of a bit of difference to try and justify it to themselves that is was worth the 30 bucks for a piece of junk.

Try ebay. Going for about a buck apiece.

Power Balance works. I am a wearer and a believer. They are ridiculously overpriced. But, they work.

I am a regular tennis player and yoga doer and I wear them. They are very stabilizing.

My son also wears them. He is not a Phiten guy but he really thinks the Power-Balance works. He started wearing them when he was a high school senior. Actually the whole team was given a wrist band. We won a State Championship (Division 1, So Cal) and you couldnt get any of those kids to part with it.

Now, my son does not wear the bracelet so much as he has the "dots" which are small magnetic stickers kind of placed in the insoles of his cleats.

What about the new mouth guard? Parents on my son's team have been talking about it. It's supposed to keep the kid from clenching his teeth, blah blah blah...
