My son was invited, we have decided not to go for financial reasons only.

It is to bad these guys can't figure out a way to make this event more affordable.

Yes, warningtrack son was invited as well and the cost is just not in the budget. Sounds like fun if money wasn't an issue.

With a recommendation, and if deserving, you can get in. Little Pricey but you may be rubbing elbows with future MLB stars.

Once again, you would think all those sponsors could cough up enough to drop the entrance fee down to a more reasonable amount.

Actually why would they do that if they can make mucho buckos?

My son was invited to that event as a high school senior. I spoke to the owner/organizer several times. He was/is the nicest guy. He ran a good showcase.

My son did not go. Really just was not in the budget and had he wanted to get to another showcase after Jupiter that year he would have done PG World or Pre-draft (in May) as he has just always has wanted to get drafted and go play ball.

And in the end that is what it boils down to...location, affordability, priorities.

That guy is not big time. He does not have the profit from one showcase to carry his "big one". The "big one" has to carry itself. It is pricey because it has to be.
