Please pray for all these folks. We have several close friends with kids at Tech; some we've verified are okay; others haven't been reached by phone yet. Unbelievably anxious moments going on this minute.

Last friday I found out that one of our sub-contractoes offices were closed for a week. Boyfriend entered the building and shot his girlfriend. She pulled though. I just can't stand what is happening to our society these days, is it too easy to get a gun, poeple have so much rage and can't control it. Why?

TPM ... you raise very good questions and I am not sure we could all agree on what the causes are but I know we can all agree that it is scarey to think that our children and loved ones aren't safe from the rage that fills some people's souls.

This is the kind of nightmare that we dare not even consider for our own children. I believe Jemaz has a kid at Va Tech. I pray for his children's safety, and for all the kids and families involved.
I may be wrong, but isn't Kaymart headed there next year?
Has anyone heard from Jemaz? Is his child safe?
I always felt after 9/11 that the next target would be our families, in schools and malls. Hopefully, that is not the case here. Either way, it is hard to understand how this can be allowed to happen to our children.
