Please pray for this family. As passionate as we are about baseball, baseball seems so small after reading this. My heart has been heavy all day.
Matthew Johnston of Franklin Parish High School succumbed to a valiant fight with cancer.
Matthew was an honorable mention on the 2005 3A Louisiana All-State team. Matthew was 18 years old and had a scholarship to play baseball at Tulane.
