Here in the North we have accepted our fate in regard to weather. This is an exception. Kids waiting for the bus, stranded motorists, pets, the elderly, police/fire, and for that matter anyone who has to venture outside as part of their day are all in harms way for the next 3 days. This morning is the warmest it will be til sometime Friday. I walk 1/2 mile from my car to work, half way here I sniffed back a sniffle and my nostrils froze together. Sounds kind of funny to those who have never been in a "deep freeze" but it is the warning that humans should not venture outside.

To my Northern friends....Be smart. To others outside the area, a prayer for everyones safety would be appreciated.

Oh that...it's called a Chgicago Collar. Kinda' like a Denver Boot. The parking enforcement guy slipped it around my neck when I hadn't moved for over an hour. I think he thought I was an old VW bug...certainly not one of those new Smart cars!

Good question, Taxpayer.

What is the educational background of the current board members?

It's time for excellence in education for all students--and that includes teaching and modeling fiscal responsibility. It means not wasting money by hiring an outside investigator because the principal/superintendent lied to the public, yes, his bosses, the taxpayers this summer.
