Prayers Needed

Sending prayers for a total recovery....

I was told that this situation does not look good at all. They canceled the Frisco vs. Centennial game this afternoon so everyone could go to the hospital. Life support is in use and a decision is being made on.....well, you get the picture.

I can't believe this story. This man is in his early 40's at the most.

"Edited.....I was told that the game was canceled, but the gentlemen who told me heard wrong. The game was played after a 2 hour delay. Sorry for the wrong information".

OP - would you please PM me and let me know who it was. Even though my boys went to Frisco HS, we still know many people on this team.

I have been out of town and have not heard anything.

I'm sorry to say that this man passed away this afternoon. They were able to donate most of his organs, so at least there's some positive to come out of this.

Please pray for the wife and son, they need plenty of prayers and support.

OP -- very sad news. We, like many here, know the family from baseball. We will pray for KP and the entire family, including those at Centennial. Too much sorrow this year, eh? I hope recent tragedies have challenged many to become organ donars.

It's hard to imagine something like this can happen. It is so bizarre how it did happen. You never know when it's your time to go.

This family has been through so much over the last couple of years. They need many prayers for sure.

So sorry to hear this news and had hoped for a miracle..... but I guess the miracle of the extension of life onto others will be what we can now hold onto.

My prayers go out to this man's family and to all that knew him......... I am now praying to those that were given a second chance at life,due to this man's untimely death, hold onto it this precious gift of life with great hope and love in the manner it was given.

May the Good Lord bring His comfort to the family at such a difficult time.

Visitation will start @ 4pm, Wednesday @ Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in McKinney.

Funeral services will be @ 4pm on Thursday @ Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow.
