.

I'm pretty sure this is covered somewhere in the Archives of another category...

But can anyone expound on the importance of getting an invitation to a pre-Draft tryout/workout/showcase with a particular MLB team?

Also what are the rules (NCAA... before or after school's out) about participating, expenses, etc?

Assuming your son is draft eligible for this summer, it is a strong indication of their interest in drafting your son.

There are no rules from NCAA limiting your participation.

You might have to miss school to go.

There are some rules about transportation and what can be paid for.

They will tell you what to do, if travel is involved.

Don't worry, they've done it before.

If you have any interest in playing professional baseball, and, a professional team asks you to participate in something, don't miss it.
