The Eagles have a solid team, as always. Without making excuses, PE pitched their #6 and #7 -- 6 games in 4 days dictated a different strategy against a team that they could face in the playoffs. Rowlett is better than East at this point.

Congratulations to some of the poster's kids, who had hits last night.....and to PE's Nick Bell, who hit his 1st varsity HR.

I've seen 3 of the 4 "favorites" in 10-5A -- and I'm tempted to give a slight edge to Rowlett for the district title.

Rank Em, if you don't mind. (I am always interested to get your insight.)

I have seen Rowlett, Rockwall, NF, and South Garland.

1. Rowlett
2. Sachse
3. Rockwall
4. NF
5. LC
6. South Garland
7. Garland
8. NG
Trot -- I hope you weren't addressing your post to me as I have only seen 3 teams -- one was in a scrimmage, one was playing their season opener, and the other was in their 2nd game. Based on my limited exposure to Rowlett, Rockwall, and NF <-- that is how I see them finishing. I think Rockwall may have the most pitching depth -- NF may have the best #1 -- the Eagles may have the best offense. I suppose I am trying to be somewhat diplomatic.

I have been told that Sasche will be very good and LC and SG battled each time out last year. All this to say that I don't know squat? That will come as news to very few here. Cool

hmmmm, I guess I'll take Rowlett and give the points. But then again I think Rowlett lost all there players. Pitchers, catchers and a majority of the infield. Probably only a couple of players that can play and carry the entire team. At least thats what I heard several months ago.

Oh and they only faced PE's #6 & #7 so I may just be wearing rose collored glasses. But I heard that on last year too.

Maybe they do reload every year?
