The competition will be outstanding.

Couldn't have done much better in that respect had qualifiers been held. Only see perhaps three not so strong teams on the list. And not so strong teams can sneak in even when you have qualifiers (see MMWS).

As long as the competition is great, I don't care how they got there. Not hung up on that. Or the name. Or who organized it.

Let 'em play ball...

Believe me you know who I'am. I was behind the plate when you guys played Berkner at PESH several weeks ago and you pitched against me in the Regions last summer in Houston.

It's basically a showcase. Not a championship, not a world series. Just a throw together-no set roster-no pride for winning-run of the mill---showcase.

Nothing wrong with that but the teams that play for a common goal - to be the best - are playing AABC right now. The ones that aren't are simply the also-rans that either don't play for championships, are unorganized, have been eliminated from AABC or use proft for major motivation.

Nothing like just strapping it on and earning your way to advance until you can't go any further. Period.
I agree with your point, but you can't deny the talent and competition. I just watched a game at Jesuit with DBAT, and I can tell you that DBAT will most likely walk through that thing yawning. They are a good team, don't get me wrong, but this Premier tournament would be tougher. Now having said that, this was the Regional, so obviously Mckinney will be more difficult. But supposedly teams had to win to get to this regional.
Bet the Patriots-Dbat is not a yawmer tomorrow. Those two teams are among the states best, want to win and one of them will be in Mckinney next week. One of them will get to play with the best of the best at the world series and it will be remembered for a lifetime by the kids and families.

No one will even remember the superdooperpooperscooperpremiershowcase a year from now. Besides coachs are coming on here asking for players to go with them to these "premier" showcase thingies. How official does running ads for extra players make it??? Puh-lease!

I do not believe you understand the kind of talent that is at one of the Premier National tournaments until you actually participate in one...... You do not think the Houston Heat or Bayside Yankees could run through a AABC touney? Please... The only people who bad mouth the Premier Baseball World Series are teams who are not in them. Just my personal opinion.

My team is not there because we choose not to be. Don't paint everyone with the same brush. Go there and have fun.

Tell that to my son's team who won the 15U Premier World Series last year. Let me assure you, there is quite a bit of pride among the players and parents. Tell that to the team who lost to us in the finals last year. We played them at a tourney earlier this summer and were told before the game that they were out for blood. It was by far the most intense game we've played all summer.

That is a crock.

Look at that list of teams again. If you truly think those are "throw together" teams, then you are more ignorant than I think anyone on this board could possibly be. If you don't believe it, then don't spout it off.

If you think there is no pride in winning, you weren't present at any of last year's tournaments.

If you think that these teams aren't playing for a common goal, you have never been around them.

To categorize any team not at AABC as also rans is also ignorant.

Spend some time learning about these teams and watching them before you go shooting off insults.
