Recently my son accepted an offer to play for a team I believe is in this league. The schedule consist of invitationals with Austin Wings, Austin Slam, Arlington A's, Houston Heat, etc., as well as the Connie Mack here in the metroplex. Does anyone know anything about this and is it a good opportunity? I know he will easily be the youngest on the team as he wont be 15 until next month. The coaches are former major leaguers. This all stems from the TCU Thanksgiving Camp.

Most of the teams associated with Premier are top notch. How good the opportunity may be depends upon which team, and how your son fits in with that particular team.

My son has played for two of these teams.

Which team issued him the invite? {Feel free to PM me if for some reason you don't want to discuss it in the open.}
Remember -- Premier is not a league, but an association of teams with commom goals (or so they claim). There are tournaments that are "run" by the association -- and they are usually successful because there are several fine organizations/clubs that participate. Your son's team is probably playing in an AABC or otherwise sanctioned league that includes teams in the Premier association. I know that seems like a matter of semantics but "Premier" is often a source of confusion here. There are, of course, hundreds of excellent non-premier organizations as well. Smile
Don't mean to hijack this thread but for those that don't know there is a Premier League in Dallas. BBI now has two divisions in both their 16U and 18U Leagues. Each league has a Premier Division and a Select Division.

18U BBI Premier Division:
Dallas Panthers 18
Dallas Patriots 18
Dallas Tigers 18
Dallas Tigers 17
DBAT 18
DBAT 18U
Fort Worth Cats 18
Lake Highlands Wildcats 18
Texas Blackhawks 18
