We are excited to announce the Premier Showcase League Fall Schedule. The PSL was founded with the idea of bringing the top 200 Dallas, Fort Worth Metroplex baseball players to one area 5 Sundays in the fall. The organizations invited to participate in the Fall 2010 season are as follows:

Dallas Patriots, FW Cats, Arlington A’s, Frozen Ropes, and the Texas Stix

The schedule is as follows (we will have two sites in close proximity for each date):

Sept. 12th: SFA

Sept. 19th: Rice

Oct. 10th: TCU

Oct. 17th: Baylor

Oct. 24th: Texas State University

All teams will play 14 innings, and the league consists of the top 2011 and 2012 players. All rosters will be updated at www.premiershowcaseleague.com prior to the first event.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me ( James Vilade) at any time. The PSL will have paid scouts at every game to guarantee accurate player information (running times, velo, etc.) should you need any information. We look forward to seeing you at a PSL game in the future.

The fall of my son's junior year, we went to Baylor (during the JUCO All Star Weekend) for a 3 team round robin (Austin ABC, Kyle Chapman and DBAT). During the DBAt vs. Kyle Chapman the college coaches in attendance included the Baylor VA (volunteer Asst. coach) and 3 JUCO coaches. Believe me, all the players knew what the situation was. After that fall season, I told Cade that the fall showcase was a waste of time and money. During the 2007 fall showcase season, our DBAT team went to Baylor (previously mentioned), Texas A&M, UT and DBU/Northwoods. The following is the grand total of D1 coaches we played in front of (teams we played- Dallas Tigers, Blackhawks, Austin ABC(2), Kyle Chapman, Austin
Wings:
UT- volunteer asst.
Baylor- volunteer asst.
Texas A&M- volunteer asst
DBU- Asst coach
Northwoods Head coach
Texas State asst. coach (attended the Texas A&M showcase).
3 volunteer asst.
2 D1 asst. coaches
1 non d1 coach (northwoods)
5-10 Juco coaches.

Keep in mind, DBAT, Tigers, Chapman, Austin ABC, Austin Wings were driving to the locations to see none, or one D1 college coach.

From Plano, we drove to DBU, Austin, Waco, and College Station to play in front of 5 D1 coaches.

Good luck in Houston, Waco, etc.

So, none of the kids on any of the teams listed got any interest from any of the schools listed?
