Press clippings

My son is sending a short videotape of him catching and hitting to college coaches. He recently had a couple of good press clippings in a newspaper. Should he also send the press clippings to the college coaches?

Depends on the school. Press clippings are great for the smaller program schools. Actually, as much info as you can get to the DII & DIII coaches the better. This prequalifies you in their eyes to rationalize a closer look. Travel budgets are pretty tight for the smaller schools. As for DI schools; they already know who they want and have a second & third "wish list". Get your son in a showcase or well know national tournament for those guys.
