Pricey ball glove...didnt get what i planned

Are you sure you cannot return it? If you can verify it is not as advertised, then "no return" policies would not be upheld.

Yes..I called the company earlier today, they said i cannot return it

I don't understand why you can't send it back if it's brand new.

As for the large size of the glove, maybe it's your hands that are too small.

I have TPX Pro Flare 11.25 I Web and 11.5 modified trap gloves. These are the smallest gloves (relative to their numbers) that I own. The finger tips are splayed out, which helps funnel balls and hence the name "flare", but which also makes the glove appear bigger than it is. A Rawlings 11.5 will actually feel WAY bigger when you put it on. The 11.5 TPX is fantastic for 2B/SS but way too small for 3B. Sorry to hear you can't send it back but I bet you would grow to like the glove after awhile.

Where did you buy the glove from? A no return policy on a brand new glove is horrible!

You say it LOOKS like it's a 11.75" glove. What does the glove say on it? That's the main thing. If you ordered (and can prove it) a 11.5 glove, then I'd call and talk to someone in management and explain what has happened. You as the consumer have that right if they shipped you the wrong glove.

2B had the 11.5 Pro Flare for a couple of years and liked it a lot.

2bmom, even if it was customized and it was their fault he still has a legitimate complaint. He is just going to need to prove to them that he did in fact order an 11.5" glove and received a 11.75" glove is all.

What's sad is that it's ball season already.

2BMOM might be right that he had it customized.

I was also thinking that he may have bought it from EBAY or Craig's list from a private seller or someone else on the web without a receipt.

True, YGD. PlankSpanker might have a point, too. It definitely has a different shape that might make it seem a little bigger.

Sadly, we will never know the outcome if A. Ax never comes back on HSBBweb. The suspense is killing me. Is it a custom glove? Was it bought on CL? All these and more questions... come back A.Ax!

Did you ever find the model number? There are 4 models of the TPX FLare.

I have found that it is better to try on the gove, see it, feel it, before buying---buying via the internet via mail these things happen and you never see the glove you ordered

Here in Illinois we tried that TR. We tried on the gove...Blagojevich...he didn't work out so well!
