I just got a big packet in the mail from Princeton today? I know their academics are first rate, but how is their baseball and facilities?
"Practice."-Tiger Woods when asked what he would do after failing to make the cut at the U.S. Open. "When nothing seems to help, I go and look at a stone-cutter hammering away at his rock perhaps 100 times without as much as a crack showing. Yet at the 101st blow, it will split in two, and I know it was not that blow that did it, but all that had gone before." mtownfan

I have a good friend whose son is a freshman there now. Princeton was always his "dream" school, though for academic reasons. Playing baseball for him was the icing on the cake.

I think they have a very competitive baseball team, at least in the Ivy League. I don't know much about their facilities but if you don't get what you need from BeenthereIL, PM me and I'll see if I can link you up with my friend for more info.

It is my understanding that they do not give baseball scholarships, despite being Division I. Just so you'll know!
Virtually everyone gets a ton of "need based" money.

I think that Princeton will soon go the way of Harvard...If your family makes $80,000 or less per year...it is virtually FREE.

At Princeton, last I looked, you got a ton of financial aid unless your family net income is over $483,000.00. In which case you don't qualify for their own endowed financial aid.

Lack of money will not keep you out of the Ivies.

Lack of academic achievement will. Very competitive academically.
