PRO DAY SHOWCASE

We did a Pro Day event back when my son was a sophomore. It was my son's first showcase and we were very happy with the outcome, but we used it as a "primer" to get him accustomed to the idea of performing in a showcase environment.

Not highly attended by recruiters, which was just what we wanted!

The website states they give you an evaluation card after the showcase. Did they do that when you went? Was the evaluation helpful?

Yes they provided an evaluation, I suppose it was accurate, I can not remember. But we were aware of the areas that needed fine tuning before we went. We never went to a showcase to figure out what needed work. My son only went to these events to be seen and ultimately ranked and become more visible to the college recruiting community.

We relied on instructors to help us understand what areas needed to be worked on, and playing competitively gave us an indication as to how he stacked up among his peers.

Agreed, us too. I just prefer getting everything I can for my $$
