My name is James Flores and I am 6'0 185lbs and a 2012 graduate. I am a pitcher and second basemen. I have quick hands and hit for average most of the time. I am currently trying to find a pro scout team in the San Antonio area with no success. Can someone please let me know about any scout team tryouts in the area or at the most 30 miles away??

James, there are no pro scout teams for high school players in the San Antonio area. However, Jimmy Gonzales, a San Antonio-based pro scout with the Washington Nationals, puts on an excellent annual showcase for high school juniors and seniors with about 75 MLB scouts and college coaches in attendance. Best of all, this showcase costs only $50. This year's showcase will be held Nov. 1 at St. Mary's University. To register, go to www.jimscout.com

According to his website, a future pro scout team is in the works. You can find his email address on his website and ask him about that.
