This word is tossed around alot as i'm finding out. Projects to be this,projects to play that. which guys who have gone through this before, can share if your son "projection" was accurate.

This question has been bantered about quite a bit. Many haven't seen my Son the way I do. Some have seen what I see! Only time will tell.
The important thing is what the player believes about his ability, and the ever present "potential for growth."

I am not sure I understand, are you talking about ability or position.
Somtimes you will hear things like (about pitchers), they project to be a 4th,5th starter, or a position guy projects to be 3rd, 4th in the lineup(as examples). Is this what you mean?
That's different than "projection" of physical ability.
