We did a media guide that featured all the players, but focused most on the seniors. It had ***, bios, and other info, and we sold ads. It wasn't a huge moneymaker, but it is a great momento. I'll be glad to email you the .pdf. It's not a masterpiece of graphic design, but it's still pretty good.
We also did an alumni game. Worked with the school to contact former baseball players and got lots of interest. We had guys participate who graduated in the 50's all the way to the 06's. They paid a $25 donation to play, ump or coach, and many of them gave an extra donation once they got there. They really had a lot of fun. The alumni played each other because it's against FHSAA rules for the players to participate. But it was a fun time and a good way to build relationships with the alumni.
Concessions are our biggest moneymaker.
When my son was playing AAU, we hosted a tournament. Between concessions and entry fees, we made about $17,000!
