About this time last year my son dislocated his shoulder and had to have his labrum repaired. He recently last week had it subluxate (slightly dislocate) again and now we are going back for a MRI and Dye injection to check to see if any damage was done to the repair. I dont want him to go under the knife again, nor does he. He is 15 yo and wanting to play freshman basketball, then baseball and then football as we had to take off football this year due to the shoulder and a lower back problem. I am looking fo an alternative but not a witch doctor remedy.
He has all the talent in the world especially on the diamond, fortunately he is not a pitcher but a 1B. I read a lot of horror stories about labrums but they focus on pitchers and their demise, we are praying this does not diminish his career as much since he is a 1B.
