Hey,
I was wondering if anybody could reccomend a protein shake that you experienced good results with or someone you know did. If so, could you suggest where to buy it?
Thanks

100% whey protein, amino acids, bananna, and mix with pineapple juice. Oscar DeLa Hoya drinks this c/o of his trainer and the pineapple juice works as a anti imflamatory for muscles and swelling in boxers. Should work on all baseball parts as well. I'm anti creatine. Most kids I've seen use this usually end up hurt.

the kids youve seen get hurt did not get hurt because they were taking creatine. people on this board give it a bad name because they dont understand what it does and they have the wrong conception of what it should be used for.
there arnt many proven anabolic effects directly resulting from creatine use, so if thats what you are looking for, wrong supplement.
optimum nutrition is a good quality protein, and no one should be having protein shakes 6x a day. as a rule, always have more meals consisting of real food than protein shakes in a day. so instead of having snacks in between a healthy breakfast and lunch, you can have a protein shake or bar with some natural peanut butter.
muscle milk really isnt that great of a supplement, its high in carbs and fat, something you dont want if you arnt going on an all out bulk. protein and dextrose in a 1 : 2 (protein to dextrose) ratio is best right after your workout. some prefer oats blended into their post workout shake instead of dextrose.
all this talk about ask your doctors first, well thats a good idea if your doctor is up to date with information. my doctor doesnt have a clue and tells me taking protein supplements arnt safe for me. yet there are studes posted everywhere by reputable doctors saying that there is no harm in supplementing with 2xbody weight in protein(grams) per day. if you are in high school and lift weights, you should be ready to use a protein supplement and amino acid or fish oils. anything else, make sure to read every piece of information on it possible that is not sponsored by the company that makes it or a forum that they sponsor. always do your homework on what you put into your body.
