I was looking through the forum, and I mistakenly happened upon these two threads where all try out information is required to go. I see that other people have missed it, too, just like I missed it. Here are the links for those who missed it.

I know it is irritating to sift through all the tryout postings- but in their defense, there is also a forum for summer ball, 2010-2011 college commits, recruiting questions, scouting questions.
pretty much a forum on here for everything. No one ever complains about those posts being here

if the moderators spent all this time moving things to the forums they should be in, there wouldn't be anything left on this Texas forum except the finger flipping name calling and obnoxious fan posts.

I suggest we create a new forum titled DBAT-

I don't think it is that people are ignoring where they should post. It is an issue of where exactly SHOULD you post tryout info. For instance, the two links you reference are entitled:

- News on Select tryouts during HS season
(an old link for posting during the season)
- Select tryouts for pre-HS teams
(only for young teams; what if they are older?)

It would be great if there was a dedicated area for posting tryout info. I've looked and I can't find it. If it exists, I'd love to know.
