PWHS v. Georgetown

OE -- I'm going to defend my Plano brethren a bit. The PW offense did not show its true colors last night and credit goes to TJ for that....but the GT hits weren't really much to brag about either. I cannot compare the PW bats to the Klein teams as I did not see them play this year, but it's safe to say that the Wolves have one of the top 2-3 offensive units in the north part of the state ---- the best we faced. I am in Robert's house on the Saturday series --- if Flora wins game 2, I like the Wolves in game 3 as well.

While I respect Georgetown and what they have accomplished this year and I agree that Jungmann was good the other night. He is 14-0 while the rest of their pitching staff is 17-9. That doesn't bode well for the Eagles. They only had 1 ball hit out of the infield the other night and their other hits were seeing-eye hits that found gaps.

We will see today at 3PM what happens. Hope the best TEAM wins, sometimes that doesn't happen.

Maybe in a one gamer, but if you can't beat them in a 3 gamer than youre not the best team! Simple as that!

I guess the best TEAM did win, CONVINCINGLY!! Georgetown was a 1 man show, plain and simple. Their rest of their pitching staff was very mediocre.

Like I said. The best team wins in a three gamer.. Painting Georgetown as a one man show or mediocre is a bit of a stretch. I look forward to seeing the Wolves in Round Rock.

I think 13-3 and 9-0 is probably worse than mediocre, I was trying to be nice. There is no other way to look at those games. PW pounded those pitchers into submission, plus GT had no bats.
