I am 16 years old and have just started my junior year in high school and am a pitcher and an outfielder. I have recently received an invitation to Joe Wladyka's Fall Talent Showcase and Joe Wladyka's College Scouting and Recruiting Service which I am intending to attend both. It is my understanding that you get timed in a 60 yard dash and you get 8-10 pitches where they will clock you. Running, I have always been slightly above average compared to players that I have played against and have always been good at stealing bases. I have never been timed in a 60 and am curious what is considered a good time to run it in? What is a time that would make me stand out as a junior? And also, pitching I throw from the 80-85mph range (I have not been clocked in a year or so, so I am not sure the exact number). Is that considered good for a junior? What is fast enough to catch some attention at the Showcases? Thanks for bothering to read all of this. Any responses will be greatly appreciated.
