When I send a private message to someone, I see in the "views" column that over time, this number seems to grow. Are others, besides the person you sent the message to, able to access your messages?

This has been a very common question. As near as I can tell, no one is viewing your private topics, but the number of views has to do w/ when the topics are accessed via email.
When someone sends you a private message, you're notified in email format too. So if that's opened it counts as a view.
BUT, the good advice I got was that if you want to be TRULY private, you'll take communicate via email.

Thanks so much for the info. Have been away from the board for a while and am not familiar with the workings of the new(I guess it's old now) format. Noticed a friend from another board posting here, so I've been visiting more often again.
