My son is going to attend the winter camp of his favorite college(ACC) in early December. The brochure says it will be run by the head coach and 2 assistants. Assuming they are actually in attendance, how much contact/evaluation is allowed with an '09 grad. The huge assumption obviously is that they like what they see.

Clemson camp is awesome. All Clemson coaches are in attendance and actually get a good look at each player. Lots of other college coaches in attendance running various hitting/throwing/fielding stations. From our experience, they'll talk to anyone who approaches them but I'm sure they're careful with their words/feedback.
Contact rules do not apply on the college campus.
A poster said that at Clemson, the pitching coach took time and worked with all 100+ pitchers in attendance during their summer camp (longer). If that is the camp, head coach and all assistants are in attendance as well as all players must take time to work camp.
If a head coach sends you material with his name attached to the camp (most likely he owns rights to the camp) he should definetly be in attendance. I wouldn't expect it to be any other way.
Anyone headed to the winter camp, give DK a shout!
