Just finished watching the Clemson Miami game - some pitcher named David, # 47 piitched well for Clemson - Have you ever met this kid - he looked good!
To our military men, women and families - You are all awesome - that flag is yours and I thank you for the opportunity for giving me the honor of removing my cap prior to every baseball game I see.

I watched this game as well and liked what I saw in TPM's son, David. Looks like he is about 100% again. Breaking pitches had good bite and FB was moving and command was good. Loose arm and effortless in delivery. Stayed ahead of hitters, for the most part, and threw first pitch strikes and hit spots with movement on fastballs. Could play vital role down the road in scheme of things for Tigers artist Good luck TPM and David. peace, Shep

Post Script>(If Miami thinks Clemson shell-shot them thusfar this weekend, just wait till next weekend. The Hurricanes better get ready and tighten down the hatches because North Carolina will be no easier next weekend.)my.02cents

Need to make correction from earlier post yesterday> Miami is playing UNC not NC State this upcoming weekend April 7-9 and NC State the weekend of April 28-30. Not to mention FSU and Va during month of April in between... Will be lucky to survive those tough series, IMHO. Will be interesting.

Watching Clemson blow out Hurricanes in rubber game on CSS right now, 14-2 Tigers. Wow...

They are knocking the cover off the ball !!!

Peace,
Shep

Hi all,
Thanks for the kind words about DK and the Tigers. I thought the Canes would fight a bit harder today but looks like they were not even trying. Some concerns with it being very warm for our players, the time change and Tigers were tired with 3 nights on the road, but they came out right away and got the job done in the first inning. Lots of fan support, I actually think better fan support than the home crowd.

I agree with Shep, lots of work for Canes to do before they face UNC next weekend. But this is teh game of baseball, and you never know from one series to the next, especially in the ACC.

Was told DK would come in for relief today and was not prepared for last night. It was great to see him up there I think he did well considering he has not been in that role this year. In fact he kind of liked it.

By the way, Catchersdad's son (#13) got at bat and an inning behind the dish. He worked hard this weekend in the bull pen. I also understand he had a great time in Miami. Wink
