question on catcher mitts

Which catcher mitts have shallower pockets for quick tranfer? How abouth the wilson a2000 or a 2k.How about the akadema models are the pockets shallow or deep? Thanks

No answers....Probably would do better posted on the catcher's forum. I believe the akadema mantis has a pocket designed for quick transfers. Less side-padding and a slimmer profile-- along with a built-in thumb stabilizer to minimize impact. (my son's favorite.) He also uses a gel-glove inside for more protection. But I know lots of catchers who swear by their Pudge. Gloves are such a personal choice, I think.
