Questionable Decision at Jr. Olympics

It sucks when you are on the losing end of that scenario, but "Thems is the rules Maam".

Happened to us in another tournament about 5/6 years go. Even worse in a way...they reverted all the way back to the 2nd inning (or so) which was the last time either team had a lead at the end of an inning. Major bummer!

Welcome to the big leagues of HS summer ball!

I know...It definately sucks! We were 4-1 only, 1 team left that was undefeated. We were in the hunt, but its all over now.

I saw a kid go from losing a summer travel game when it started to rain, to getting the win with a no-hitter on a rain out.

Apparently a bit of confusion at the field. We protested the game and it turns out that the other team had incorrectly stated that they were the home team, which is why the game was called in their favor. We were the home team so everyone is on the way back to the field! We tied up the game and have runners on base with 0 outs when we resume action again in a few minutes.

I'm getting third hand info from my wife who was at the game which is why my original post stated the wrong 1/2 inning.

That must be a noon game.

I guess the 3 pm games will start at 6.

Tampa Bay Raiders are the last undefeated team.

Congrats to you, Jody, and The Raiders!

What team were you? We were horrible this year, we had a few injuries before the start of it and it hurt us.

It's a re-match of the Florida BCS.

I hope the east report hits within some resonable time after the game today.

They have been outrageously slow in their reporting and recaps.

Congrats to all the players selected for the team trials.

The Prospects got the win.

I don't know the exact score, but they avenged their loss in Ft Myers.

This could be an interesting rivalry for the rest of the summer.

did you actually get to play on the US Junior Olympic Team, like I expect, or is it just watching it. If so, you are lucky just to get to play for that team, but I know what you mean.
