First of all, welcome to the HSBBWeb. ...and congratulations on attracting the attention of recruiters.

My advice is, don't worry about any missteps you may have taken up to this point. But get proactive right away and get those questionaires back to the schools. Unless they specifically requested a video, I'd suggest holding off on that at this time. You don't really want to be sending an unsolicited, unannounced video to a college recruiter.

As for the message you send to the coaches, I'd recommend that you turn any future questionaires around and get them back to the school promptly. These guys (recruiters) are typically in feeding-frenzy mode, and not likely to wait around to learn of your interest. They have a job to get done, signing up their 'needs' before fall ball begins so they can start to focus on this year's team.

Your profile says 3 year varsity pitcher, are you a junior or senior?

If you are a junior, you have plenty of time and most likely even get the same questionaires again.

If you are entering your senior year, forget the video and send them asap with a follow up call.
