I would like to play my only non-district game in 2008 at the Ballpark.

If anybody out there has details about how to get the ball rolling with the Rangers let me know.

I know that I have to find an opponent and a common date.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

We have been playing out at the ballpark for the last several years, and sorry to burst your bubble, but you have to get in line. They have a program where each school that is in the group of however many, sells tickets to their games. If you sell all the tickets you keep playing, if not the next year it will go to someone else in line. So you can talk with the Rangers, but unless i am mistaken you will have to get in line.

This is a fantastic fundraiser, not to mention a great time. Yes, you have to sell a number of tickets so the real key is to get an opponent with a Booster Club as active as you all are. HP and SLC did it 2 years ago and made a killing. We, CHS, wanted to do it but got into it at the last minute and we were not confident in our opponents's ability to sell tickets. It is a great deal. Just pick an opponent that can carry their load.
I have 2 big hurdles to climb in order to do this.

1) Find an opponent
2) Find an opponent that can play on the limited dates that I can. We are adding a team to our district next year and we now have 16 district games. So, I only have 1 non-district game to schedule and only 3-4 dates on my schedule to play on.

Our booster club has the money, that is not an issue at all. We can sell the tickets easily. If any one else out there is needing an opponent, have their booster club president email me at senaar@mansfieldisd.org
