The jugs and stalkers are both pretty accurate. Sitting behind several guys and watching the readings from both- they were identical on every pitch except for one and it was off by 1 mph. I do know that the Bushnell gun is not accurate at all and if you are well behind the plate it can be off considerably- as much as 10 mph off!

Bushnell's work differently than a Stalker. They give min and max readings. If the min and max are the same (likely case for 10 mph variance), that means it was pointed at the plate, or it was too far away, or the batteries were dead, or... Smile. If there's an 8-10 mph difference, the max reading will be good. Having said that, they still are 2-3 mph slower than Stalker.

If you have the extra $900, get a Stalker.

Once you get the timing down, the "Pocket Radar" is quite accurate. I have never had a reading greater than the stalker. I have found that you must press the large red button just before the release of the ball to get the highest reading, which will be the same as that of the stalker or more often one mph below a stalker.
Can only relate my experience with the Pocket Radar.....When I am getting numerous readings equal to or within 1 mph. of the Stalker, I then feel confident enough in the velocity readings I am getting. Timing is everything and the button must be pressed while the ball appears to be still in the pitcher's hand and prior to release. It is a skill that, with some practice, can be mastered and relied upon.
