Calallen's game against Frisco Wakeland was scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and will likely will start after 9 p.m.

our games, two 1A semifinals and two 4A semifinals, were scheduled for 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. More than an inch of rain fell overnight in the Round Rock area, according to the National Weather Service. It continued to rain until noon and there is a 50 percent chance of rain tonight.

The game scheduled to start at 10 a.m. started at 1:05 p.m. The UIL announced on its website that each game following would begin 45 minutes after the conclusion of the previous game.

Calallen pitched the same lefty which pitched back to back last friday and saturday.. threw 150 or so pitches... he's a missouri signee (what's left of him)... threw a complete game against wakeland.. so that's about 230 pitches in 6 days... even Nolan Ryan only advocates 120 pitches every 4 days and he's a mule..

I'd say good luck to Brenham, but it's baseball history is fraught with the same abuse of jon peters... oh yeah remember him... barely get it to home plate when he showed up for Aggies after his high school career...
