My team got rained out again today. we are supposed to play on Friday and rain is in the forecast. Apparently a whole bunch of Kansas farmers went to church on Easter and prayed for rain ... Smile (I'm trying to put a positive spin on it as it is driving me crazy.... we are 2-0 with 6 rainouts.)

Well if misery loves company, were in the same boat,...literally. Another rained out game,..rescheduled for today,...( doubtful, its STILL raining ), chances are tomorrow's game will be a " no-go ", too. ( Who knew it was possible for a grown woman to remember how to pout, bottom lip pokin' out, ready for turkey poop and all!!! )

We've only played two games this season,...kinda stinks when the make-up games get rained out also.
I say,..if we can play in the snow, then lets play in the rain,...what the heck!!! Who cares about tearin' up the field???? What's up with everyone in Kansas being so protective of their fields?...geeesh!!!
They weren't even green yet, from all the stinkin' lousey snow, anyways! ha!

( I definately need another cup of coffee!..and perhaps a donut,..make that a chocolate glazed double fudge donut, and save one for my neighbor Trojan Skipper while you're at it !! )

I think our boys are so anxious to play, they would be willing to play blindfolded, in the basketball gym, on their knees, in the dark, with a ping pong ball & a frisbee!!

Mother Nature and I need to have a pow-wow!!! BRING IT, sistah' friend!!!
Miss Springtime better get her hiney out here and make her grand appearance, A.S.A.P!!
That young Lady and I are going to have a few words!!!!
( hand on hip,...finger waving in the air, foot tapping!!! )

I just got back from across town where we were supposed to play tonite. Make this game #8 that has been cancelled now due to rain and/or cold. And they're talking snow this weekend cry

CaBB, our spring break was last Thursday to Monday--wasn't above 50 the entire time. In fact, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday it was below FREEZING!!
