I'm not sure which Randy to root for. The Johnson who will be the enemy of the NY media, or, the Johnson who has the potential to start a player brawl in the NY locker room.

I'd be shocked if the Yankees won less than 100, (JMO) but if the Red Sox win the division by 15, that's fine with me. That would mean a Yankee collapse of historic proportions, given the $205 million payroll.
You've got to wonder sometimes if the players know what city they've chosen to spend half their season in (remember Mike Hampton and Denver? Like the school system was more important than his altitude-flattened curve....)
If RJ wants to start off antagonizing the NY press, that's certainly his call....he's nothing if not a Big Boy. But at his age and with That Contract, they're already working on their headlines should he lose a couple in a row or go on the DL. Seems like a useless move on his part.

Lots of people wondered about Manny coming from Cleveland and being under pressure. We'll see if Edgar can handle it better than Nomar. He won't have a contract issue like Nomar, the root of his downfall. If Edgar is smart he'll ignore the press like Manny.
I heard the four former CBS & 60 minutes executives had input into the headline and may investigate the story!
